BUDAPEST, HUNGARY 1/7/08 -- Power of the Dream Ventures (PDV), Hungary's premiere technology acquisition company is pleased to announce the start of engineering work on the full sized RiverPower prototype. Work will be accomplished in-house.

"Following the successful testing on the 1/4th scale RiverPower machine at Hungary's Environmental and Water Resource Research Institute we are now moving forward with development work by completing engineering on one of the modules of the full RiverPower machine. I anticipate this work to complete in approximately a month and a half, upon which we will build the module and field test it in the river Danube." commented Mihaly Zala, Chief Technology Officer of the Company.

Since acquiring RiverPower on May 24, 2007 the Company has filed two patent applications to protect the technology, completed engineering and design on the inventors original concept, built and independently tested two one forth scale prototypes and completed engineering and have started construction on an 8kW generator specifically designed for RiverPower. It is anticipated that full scale versions of the modular machine will begin field testing in mid 2008. For commercial rollout is planned for 2009.
